3-Way Calls

Example 1:

Ring Ring!

Karen:  Hello!

Tony R:  Hey Karen, it’s Tony, how are you?

Karen:  I’m great, how are you?

Tony R:  Doing well, listen did I catch you at a good time?

Karen:  Yeah, whats up?

Tony R:  Well I have my business partner on the phone and we just wanted to talk with you for a few minutes, his name is Tony Patti.

Tony L:  Hey Karen, how are you?

Karen:  Hi Tony.

Tony L:  Karen, I know you’re a busy person, so we won’t keep you long.  The reason we are calling is because Tony just became a business partner of mine and the business is doing well.  We are now looking to expand and bring on a new partner.  When we were talking about the type of person we’re looking for, your name came up.  Tony spoke very highly of you, and felt that you would be someone who might have an interest in what we are doing, or might be able to point us in the right direction.  Either way Karen, you can really help us out by evaluating what we’re doing.  He said that you were a really sharp, open-minded, people person, is that true about you?

Karen:  (giggle) I guess!

Tony L:  Well great, Karen what we’re doing may or may not be for you, but let me ask you a question if I may.

Karen:  Sure!

Tony L:  Would you agree that there is wisdom in developing multiple streams of income?

Karen:  Sure, I can always use extra money!

Tony L:  Good, then let me ask you one more question, if you were exposed to a business venture that enabled you to create a lot of wealth (and I’m talking multiples of a six-figure on-going income) within the next 12 to 36 months, focused on only 10 to 15 hours a week working with me, would you like to hear the rest of the story?

Karen:  Well yes, I’d be interested in listening to what you have to say!

Tony L:  Great, what I’m going to need is about 45 minutes to an hour of your time, and what I’m going to do during that time is get to know you a little bit better and give you a brief overview of what we’re doing.  Does that sound fair?

Karen:  Sounds good to me.

Tony L:  Ok, are you flexible with your time or are you limited to certain times of the day?

Karen:  Well I work during the day, so evenings would be better for me!

Tony L:  Ok great Karen, looking at my schedule, I have some time to sit down with you Monday or Tuesday at 7:00, which one would be better for you?

Karen:  Probably Tuesday would work best.

Tony L:  Ok, I’m going to mark that in my planner, could you do me a favor and make sure you put that on your calendar as well, so you don’t forget?  Let me ask you Karen, is there anything that would prevent you from keeping that appointment?

Karen:  No that’s good.

Tony L: Great Karen, I will be looking forward to meeting you.

Example 2:

Ring Ring!

Karen:  Hello!

Tony R:  Hey Karen, it’s Tony, how are you?

Karen: Well maybe, what is it?

Tony L: It’s a Product Brokerage and Internet Marketing Company. We specialize in one to one Marketing and Mass Customization. Are you familiar with those concepts?

Karen: Not really. Can you explain it to me?

Tony L:  I could but your question requires a 45-minute answer and that’s why we need to get together.  There’s no way I could do it justice within a couple minutes over the phone.  Anyway, if we are going to consider you for the position, I would like to meet you in person.  Does that sound fair?

Karen:  Yeah, that sounds fair.

Tony L:  Ok, are you flexible with your time or are you limited to certain times of the day?

Karen:  Well I work during the day, so evenings would be better for me!

Example 3:

Tony R:  Hey Karen, it’s Tony, how are you?

Karen:  Sure!

Tony L:  Would you agree that there is wisdom in developing multiple streams of income?

Karen:  That depends on what you have to do for the income.

Tony L:  Well let me ask you then, if you were exposed to a business venture that enabled you to create a lot of wealth, and I’m talking about multiples of a six figure income, with you focused on about 10 to 15 hours a week working with me would you like to hear the rest of the story?

Karen:  Well, I don’t know?

Tony L:  Well Karen, at this point, it doesn’t sound like you’d be the person that we’re looking for, and that’s ok, I know it’s a timing thing so we won’t take up any more of your time right now.  Who do you know that may be looking for an opportunity to make that kind of money?

Karen:  I can’t really think of anybody right now.

Tony L:  Ok, well Karen, if anybody comes to mind, just give Tony a call.  Thanks for your time, have a nice evening.
